Extract scanned invoice data to Excel

Is the invoice text-based or scanned?
Try selecting the invoice number in the PDF. If it copies correctly, text can be read directly. For an image page or non-extractable text, choose the appropriate OCR language in invoice extraction. Mixed documents may need a page-by-page review.

Fictional example: the invoice shows a total of 210.00 AED, but recognition may confuse the letter O with zero. Compare the field with the original and correct it before exporting Excel.

Extraction and review steps
- Prepare a clear PDF with upright pages and add it to invoice extraction.
- Choose Arabic, English or the appropriate combined option for the content, then start extraction.
- Compare the reference, date, amounts and tax with the source. Correct fields and review warnings before export.
- Download Excel with the fields and extracted source text for review. Keep the original invoices as a reference.
If recognition is inaccurate
Faint or tilted scans can confuse digits, and the wrong language can change letters. Try a clearer copy and crop margins without removing invoice data. Use fewer pages if phone memory is limited. If issues remain, correct the fields manually before export.
